I can boldly say without any iota of doubt, that everyone has had a “what if” moment.
No one can help it.
Which ultimately means, everyone has been at a point where they were clueless, indecisive and scared.
My point is, it is perfectly okay to feel a “what if” about something. What if this doesn’t work out? What if I don’t get accepted? What if I fail? What if I lose?
Most times, this cluelessness comes when we are about to take a step out from our comfort zone and believe me, that’s a good thing because nothing great ever happened in the comfort zone.
It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you are about to do something really, really brave.
So how about we use our “what ifs” in a positive way. What if it works out? What if I get accepted? What If I succeed? What if I win?
Don’t let fear stop you. Everything you ever want is on the other side of fear.
Do it, Do it scared, that’s courage.
Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.
