Intentional Living

“Life itself is a privilege, but to live life to the fullest — well, that is a choice.”

— Andy Andrews

There are only two types of people in the world, those who live and those who just merely exist. The difference is this; the former choose the kind of life they want while the latter live a life that just happens to them.

An unintentional life accepts everything and does nothing. An intentional life embraces only the things that will add to the mission of significance.

If you’re going to grow, thrive and fulfill your purpose, you have to be intentional about everything. We are living in a generation where many people struggle in making smart decisions.

The new slogan is “If it feels good, go for it. The consequences will take care of itself and if it doesn’t, some booze, a couple of substances and lots of sex will make it all go away”.

Don’t just exist and go with everything. You may not realize it but to live is by far the rarest thing in the world because most people exist to just pay bills and lose weight.

The truth is, you can’t do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth. Life comes at us really fast and brings on its own waves of troubles which we have no control over but how we act or react determines the outcome.

I don’t have answers to everything and I don’t know what mine or anyone life’s course is going to be but here is what I know; none of us is making it out of here alive, so don’t treat yourself like an afterthought.

Be intentional.

“The power of intention is the power to manifest, to create, to live a life of unlimited abundance, and to attract into your life the right people at the right moments.”

— Wayne Dyer
