I can’t wait to embrace all the opportunities and possibilities within the next half of this year. It’s amazing how so much can change in such a little time. One minute, I was feeling suffocated, bored and boxed up with the whole pandemic issue and the next minute I feel refreshed and charged up with delivering on my new job (I will talk about this soon).
This year has been a roller-coaster ride with so many twists and turns. I have had my fair share of doubts and disappointments, anxious thoughts and fear, and the list goes on. Despite my wallowing in self-absorbed grief about what the future holds, I cleaved with an unwavering determination to the one who holds the future and is not held back by the time or seasons.
I consoled myself with His word about what I needed to do at a time like this:
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. – Philippians 4:6 [NLT]
So, instead of worrying sick, I decided to keep praying about everything and thanking God for all he has done and continuously focused my mind on everything good and of good report and my world changed for the best. I am immensely grateful for where I am presently and super excited about where I am heading.
May this next half be a time of new beginnings, where I find my balance and choose everything that aligns with my purpose and who I am rather than settling for what is convenient.
